PTO Meeting Minutes

March 4th, 2010

 

President, Shannon Stuessel, call the meeting to order at 6:41 pm.

 

2009-2010 PTO Officers:

Report/Public Relations –

Meeting minutes from February approved.

 

Treasurer's Report:  Current Balance=$8624.82 (library balance=$881.85)

 

Parent's Issues/Concerns:  None

 

Principal's Report:

  • Nothing new to report

 

Teacher's Issues/Concerns:

  • Snacks for Parent/Teacher Conferences (subway, cookies and meat & cheese tray)

 

Old Business:

  • Jump rope for Heart Fundraiser/$3500.00 raised, $400 dollars for Lawrence-Lawson.
  • Grandparents Day will be May 7th from 1:00pm-2:30pm/PTO will donate $20/classroom for an activity for students to do with Grandparents (approved and seconded)
  • Science Guy at LL, Thursday, April 15th from 6pm-7pm (rain date set for April 22nd?)
  • Schwan's Fundraiser set for Parent/Teacher Conference dates (Schwan's will take care of setting up and taking down) and flyers will go out to parents; put up fundraiser on school sign
  • Milk caps, box tops submitted earned LL $875.63 ($943.55 less shipping costs $67.92) and an additional 5,826 point for soup labels

 

New Business:

  • Election of Officers for the 2010-2011 school year (Mr. Hall will send a letter out on this.)
